Christy is the GRA for OSU's Office of Undergraduate Research, Scholarship, and the Arts. She has been a musical performer and educator for over twenty years, works as a publishing engraver, and also teaches self-defense classes for female-identifying groups. Her professional goal is to engage student populations in conversations about what role Higher Education should play in creating a more equitable community both on and off-campus. In her spare time, Christy can be found camping and hiking, lifting weights, exploring the northwest culinary scene, or reading the newest fantasy novel.
