The Office of Global Opportunities (OSU GO) utilizes an application management software, Terra Dotta, to collect and manage student information related to studying abroad. This page has been created to provide training for designated OSU faculty and staff who will be interfacing with the Terra Dotta software.   

The training modules below will provide an overview of the Terra Dotta system and explain how, as an administrator or program leader, you will interface with the software to manage student applications. Each training module is about 20 minutes in length. 

To access each module follow these steps:

  1. Click on the title of the module you would like to open. A new window will open in your Google Drive displaying the module. Learn more about your OSU Google Drive here.
  2. Hover your mouse over the top of the screen just above the title of the module. Click on the "Download" icon that appears.
  3. Choose to open the file.
  4. Click on the file to open and enter the password, "letmein" when prompted.

Please be sure to view the presentations in order. 

  1. Gaining Access to Terra Dotta Training Module - Will show you how to formally request your user ID and an overview of what capabilities Reviewers have in the Terra Dotta system.
  2. Application Review Training Module - Will explain the pre-defined application statuses and how to enter application decisions.
  3. Applicant Parameter Training Module - Learn about progress audits, application email communication and automatic notifications.
  4. Application Management Training Module - Covers specific application parameters and how the Terra Dotta software can be customized to meet departmental needs.

OSU GO may periodically update this page with additional training resources as we continue to develop the Terra Dotta system and integrate the software with departments on the OSU campus.
