The University Innovation Alliance is the leading national coalition of public research universities committed to increasing the number and diversity of college graduates in the United States. The UIA seeks to identify promising and innovative student success interventions, scale and test them within the alliance, and then share what’s learned with the broader higher education community.
UIA convenings involve teams of five to seven people from each of the 11 institutions coming together for problem-solving around common challenges and practical, insightful content designed to inspire action. Oregon State University hosted a UIA convening on campus in May 2017. The UIA also hosted the first ever National Summit for Student Success Innovation and Campus Transformation April 3-5, 2018, in Atlanta, Georgia. Over 400 individuals representing more than 70 institutions attended including administrators and faculty from across the U.S. as well as Australia, Canada, and South Africa.
