Apply now for the 2017 Undergraduate Summer Research Symposium
The Undergraduate Summer Research Symposium will be held at OSU on September 14th, 2017. The symposium is open to OSU undergraduates in all academic colleges and of all class standings. We welcome first year students to apply! We also encourage students to apply who are conducting research this summer or have conducted research prior to this summer.
Two presentation options are available:
3-minute lightning talks
Those selected to give 3-minute lightning talks will be required to attend a practice session on Friday, September 8th from 9-11am in ALS 4001. Additional details about this practice session will be distributed to those who are selected. If there is more interest in lightning talks than slots available, we will select speakers to ensure a diversity of topics, research groups, academic colleges, and levels of seniority.
Undergraduates should discuss their interest in participating in the symposium with their research mentor and then apply at the following link:
The deadline to apply is August 21st at 11:59pm. If you have questions about how to complete this application, please come by ALS 2037 for drop-in advising on August 10th from 10-2pm. Once we have received all applications, we will provide additional detail about timing and location of the symposium.
