Diverse programs at OSU provide funds for undergraduates to engage in research or creative activities under the mentorship of OSU faculty members. Programs vary in eligibility requirements - some are available to undergraduates in all majors while some are restricted to specific colleges/majors.
Undergraduates can also apply to non-OSU programs for financial support for research.
URSA Engage provides support for will provide first-year, second-year and recent transfer students with stipends for engaging in research and creative activities under faculty guidance.
URISC (Undergraduate Research, Innovation, Scholarship & Creativity)
OSU Human-Animal Interaction Lab is currently seeking Undergraduate Research Assistants for a range of projects in areas including: cat and dog behavior and cognition, the human-animal bond, kitten cognition, cat and dog play, and human-dog and dog-dog social interactions in public off-leash dog parks. We also periodically have opportunities in the areas of horse and livestock behavior.
